Each time, you do the deep work. As you came to discover the depth of darkness of the world around you, you also faced the darkness within self. You have looked the darkness in the eye and said “I see you…you have no power over me as I shine the light upon you to reveal truth for all to see.”
You didn’t shrink, or give up, or hide away. Each time, you did the work. Often alone, isolated, and feeling more and more disconnected from all you had known as your “reality.” To break open, to discover a new potential. A new way. A new consciousness that brings such magic and healing, that you don’t see life the same way you did before. You can’t. Once you see the truth, you cannot go back. And you didn’t. You persevered. You endured test after test after test. Just when you thought you were through the last of the big tests, another one came in to knock you to your knees again.
